This afternoon, 6 members of the team supported the Vesperados Scooter Clubs annual Santa run from Pendlebury to the Christie Hospital in Manchester….weather conditions far from favourable to say the least with winds gusting at 70mph or more….nevertheless, we soldiered on and enabled the run to be smooth, all the riders and drivers who started made the finish without casualties and raised a lot of cash for one of the most deserving causes in the North West….well done to all.
This Sunday we will be supporting the Vesparados Scooter Club annual run from Pendlebury to the Christie Hospital, Withington, Manchester.
Tomorrow…Remembrance Sunday brings several members of the team back onto the M60 motorway to help with the Ring of Red event when we will attempt to remember all those brave men and women who went to war for their country and sadly did not return….several hundred bikers, wearing red clothing will attempt to form a moving poppy symbol around the motorway network……at the same time fellow bikers in the south of England will be doing a similar event round the M25. Money will be raised for the various services charities. ‘We Will Remember Them’
